Privacy notice
This site is run by Hossein Kazemi, trading as Astorna. It collects very little, and nothing that it does not need to answer your enquiry or to see whether the pages are being read.

Analytics
With your consent, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether a visit ends in a booked call. Nothing is loaded from Google, and no analytics cookie is set, until you choose "Accept" in the banner.
If you accept, Google sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies to tell repeat visits apart. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. The data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC under Google's data processing terms; reports are retained for the period configured in the property, and are only ever seen in aggregate.
Your choice is stored in your browser for 180 days, after which the banner asks again. You can change it at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. Declining costs you nothing; the site works identically either way.
Booking a call
The free fifteen-minute call is booked through Cal.com, embedded on the booking page. The details you enter there — your name, email address, and anything you write in the notes — go to Cal.com and to me, and are used to arrange and hold the call.
The booking also records which page of this site you came from (for example, the page for compliance roles), so I know which pages lead to conversations. Nothing else about your visit is attached to it.

Email and correspondence
If you write to me, I keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to answer you and, if it comes to that, to carry out the engagement. It is not added to any mailing list and is not shared with anyone else.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the IP address and request details of each visit to deliver the pages and protect against abuse; see cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. I do not receive or keep those logs.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Write to hossein@initialblock.com and I will answer within a month. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
